Transforming Australia’s supply chains
Modern intermodal precincts allow freight to move seamlessly between transportation modes, maximising efficiency, contingency and sustainability benefits for generations to come.
Opening Australia with world class intermodal precincts
Wholly-owned by the Australian Government, National Intermodal is an independent developer of critical logistics infrastructure. Our activities facilitate both the current operation and future development of world class, open access intermodal precincts across the eastern states of Australia.
By co-locating transport modes with large-scale warehousing and efficient road and rail interfaces, we help strengthen supply chains, improve freight resilience and support long-term logistics growth.
Intermodal precincts offer significant local employment opportunities, including in highly skilled areas, such as automation, robotics and artificial intelligence.
