The Albanese Government has reappointed Ms Erin Flaherty as a Non‑Executive Director (NED) and Board Chair of the National Intermodal Corporation, providing continued leadership during a critical phase of project delivery.
Ms Flaherty brings more than 40 years’ experience across the private and public sectors, with a distinguished career spanning law, rail and major infrastructure projects.
Her qualifications include a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney. Ms Flaherty also currently serves as a Non‑Executive Director of NSW Police & Citizens Youth Clubs and The Infrastructure Fund.
Since her appointment as Chair of the National Intermodal Board in February 2020, Ms Flaherty has led the Board through significant milestones, including advancing the development of the Moorebank Intermodal Precinct in New South Wales and the Beveridge Intermodal Precinct in Victoria.
Ms Flaherty has been reappointed for a further two‑year term as Chair and Non‑Executive Director, providing stability and continuity of leadership as National Intermodal progresses major intermodal terminal projects that support Australia’s freight and supply chain resilience.
