Team Assistant

The Team Assistant for the Operational Readiness team will support managing and coordinating administrative and project support tasks related to the Operations team and ensuring a smooth functioning of the department.
This individual will support the Head of Operational Readiness and team by handling documentation, preparing PowerPoint presentations (including animations), drafting reports, correspondence and board papers, scheduling meetings, and other organisational tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
This role will be based in our Sydney office, and we are on-site in the office most days. As part of this role, there will be occasional after-hours support as required to accommodate the Head of Operational Readiness’ schedule.

Reporting to the General Manager, Contracts and Procurement, you will be accountable for leading and coordinating the commercial aspects of National Intermodal major contracts, partnership arrangements, and joint ventures. The position will ensure the best commercial and procurement outcomes for all National Intermodal engagements while interfacing with legal and project management teams.

Reporting directly to the GM PMO and Project Services, the role will support project teams across a portfolio of major infrastructure freight intermodal precinct projects.

We have a full-time permanent opportunity for a Client-Side Project Manager for a major rail intermodal project based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Project Director, you will contribute to the development of the broader Beveridge project whilst leading on-site activities, from planning through to completion with a strong focus on environmental stewardship and heritage preservation. This role involves collaborating extensively with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives while safeguarding natural and cultural resources.
