We are protecting the location for terminals in South-East Queensland to support the potential re-activation of Inland Rail and are considering interim logistics activities.
National Intermodal will work with the Australian and Queensland Governments on the finalisation of the business case for the Brisbane Terminal. This includes integrating its design with Inland Rail project development, the development of a commercial model for the terminal and opportunities for integration within a broader intermodal logistics precinct.
National Intermodal will bring a national perspective and ensure effective coordination, the application of lessons learnt from the Moorebank development and consistency with intermodal developments along the east coast.
Precinct progress
National Intermodal will work with the Australian and Queensland Governments to protect land for the Ebenezer Terminal. This includes the potential for early activation of industrial activity prior to any reactivation of the Inland Rail project.
